I had the privilege of being interviewed on the Reiki Women Podcast by the Bronwen Logan, Reiki author, teacher, and co-founder of the International House of Reiki. This conversation shed light on my deeply personal healing journey—transitioning from a dedicated mother and analytics professional to a point of experiencing ill health as a result of chronic stress, followed by a nervous breakdown, leading me on a journey to heal my life.
I shared how embracing the traditional Japanese perspective of Reiki practice became a pivotal element in my healing process. Through Reiki, I discovered ways to release tension and stress, eventually leading me to a state of balance that empowered my body’s optimal functioning, helping me fully recover from and lead a normal life. This Journey not only allowed me to heal, but also inspired me to practice and share this transformative art with others.
One key aspect discussed during the interview was the profound impact of the Reiki precept “Do Not Worry” on my journey. This principle has played a significant role in reshaping my perspective and approach to challenges in life.
Bronwen Logan’s expertise, reflected in her influential Reiki research books, classes, and educational materials, provided a valuable backdrop to our conversation.
This interview was an exploration of personal healing, the transformative power of Reiki practice, and the importance of embracing its principles in navigating complexities in life.
When I was unwell, I kept my struggles private, out of shame, but I am now honoured to have shared my story on this platform. My story might offer hope to someone else or possibly make a positive impact on someone’s life.
